Police Patrol Getting Ready With Rotational Camera Vehicles For Diwali - Started By SP of Thoothukudi

As Diwali is getting closer,Cars fixed with rotational cameras which rotates in all four directions is been given to Police force to supervise the whole town.This was started and kept by Thoothukudi - Superintendent Of Police Mr. Maghendran.

In order to avoid the conflict between the Police and business people which took place last year during Diwali ,Thoothukudi SP Maghendran has joined with the business people and gave them permission to run their shops at night and also they are carrying out all safety precautions for the festive eve to be celebrated safely. So he started the Police patrol from Old bus stand in Thoothukudi with rotational cameras fixed in all police vehicles.Then police SP said like all safety measures has been done in the bazaar to control the crowd,traffic,crime,and also children's safety.So all vehicles with the cameras fixed will rotate in all four directions around the town and in bazaar round the clock.(i.e 24/7Service).

For this service 40 Policemen, 6 Sub Inspector,3 Inspectors have been fixed for the duty.There will be 150 volunteers from business union will give helping hand to police.



Also a Sub Urban Police Station is been set up in Old bus stand Thoothukud i.He gave an assurance to public that immediate actions will be taken if any crime occurs during the crowd.Also supervision towers will be constructed.These precautionary measures will be also made in Kovilpatti by the Police.Thus ended his speech.Assistant Superintendent Of Police Mr.Selvan Naagarathinam,Central Police Station Inspector Mr.Vanasundar and other police was along with SP.
